I like the design of it, just not sure about the bright blue and green in there. I would have rather seen those in darker shades I think. But, maybe they needed to be bright for the AR to register them? Idk, if I buy one I think I would try and replace those colors.

I see they're still using the same garbage box design where you can't see the actual set...

Wonder if the haunted castle will be a hit like the monster theme haunted house. It’s not as substantial but has a great look.

I personally believe that this set will do great. It is a fairly large haunted castle which is a +, and if the retirement rumors are true it will only be available for purchase for about 4 months. I have already purchased my limit from LEGO Shop at Home.

I had no idea there was even another wave from this theme... Just discovered them the other day. Castle looks pretty cool, as does the "Slenderman" looking build in the firetruck set.

promobricks just reported that the manufacturing of the castle set has stopped.

this is what makes me think friends Ideas set is not going. if they have info on sets that have stopped producing already, they have info on whats retiring no?

They have insider info, where did you read that central perk is going? I believe it is quite a popular set and I'm guessing it might sit a little while longer.

Often times, it's about licensing, rather than popularity. I think it's probably done and a typical timeline for that theme.

in any case this is a hidden side thread and we are digressing, it should do well at christmas regardless. 

70437 has officially disappeared from the mainstream sites at retail price except Amazon. Looks like the GWP at SAH helped move these out this past week.

I considered Kohl's empty, too, because it shows that it is unavailable for shipping. Maybe that's just in my region though. Were you able to add to cart?

I've gotten a few from Kohl's and they all shipped immaculately in a box. (Before the Christmas rush, of course)

yes - i can order them but i wouldn't from kohl's.  agree that this set should do very very well given its short production run.  don't have a ton because its hidden side.
