I just picked this up and am facing a bit of a dilemma. Do I open it or leave it sealed?? Any idea of value open vs sealed? I believe they are the 1999 Shell promo vehicle sets (6 small vehicles in the set). Guy said there are 6 complete sets in it. He also gave me a full set that he took out of a different box. Not sure if I am going to sell them or not but can't find anything online similar to get a rough value.  Any info is much appreciated.

there is one seller from canada had the complete set listed on ebay for $44.85 + $9.27 shipping, use it as your reference.

there is a niche market for this, if your price is right, they do sell

 

Does it hold any more value in the sealed distribution box? I have found the individual vehicles for sale so I know what it is roughly worth opened up. I just didn't want to cut the tape and ruin something that might be more valuable left sealed.

Sets like this will sell better on an individual basis.
