According to the German site Stonewars (https://www.stonewars.de/geruechte/lego-creator-expert-10272-fussballstadion/) the next Creator Expert set will be the Manchester United Football (Soccer for Americans) stadium. The reason for the speculation is the license-agreement made between LEGO and the Manchester United club, last November 2019.

Supposed pricepoint: 269.99 EURO, and VIP exclusive sale starting later in January with a non-VIP sale from February onwards.

What do you all think? Does this sound realistic ? Will it sell ?

I don't know a thing about soccer. I wonder if I should flip now or hang onto it for a bit. Going around $90 on ebay.

Sell the stadium IF you don’t like soccer. 

IMO the statue will be $150-$200+ sooner than later.

I'm American so of course I hate soccer...

Yes.. I tried to get the stadium but instead of teh Trinity it's a lame TLM2 poly

This micro statue is included in the stadium set.  So obviously everyone will want the 3 real figs to display out front especially on the nicely built printed stand.

I looked it up yesterday because the only thing I knew about Manchester United was Beckham. However, I promptly forgot.

The history is they are the three players who brought the club to prominence.

Doubt it, but I wouldn't doubt them holding some back for another GWP period when sales of OT start to slow down.

And who knows. Maybe some for a Beckham signing event or such?

guess $150-$200 is sooner than I thought!

for sure...the way LEGO Shop at Home manages shortages (cancels and let you know 3 days later) there's no guarantee anyone got it 

This is a VERY small run GWP.  Its in a generic outer box that has nothing specific to the set.  The box has a 'window' in the front and the set picture, number, and barcode are all printed on a cardboard insert.  It also has a strange set number of 6322642 that doesn't conform to the normal GWP 40XXX numbering.  This definitely feels like a 'hand-packed' set, and I've heard that anything under 5000 copies gets hand-packed.  Something comparable might be the Space Slug GWP, although that had a nicer box than this, which means it's probably a smaller run than that was.
