I was a bit concerned, because I hit the "place order" button twice, and then refreshed, and then hit it again.  No emails, but I think only one confirmation/order.  I hope so anyway.

I tried on CC, failed, switched to Paypal, failed, refreshed and it processed.

Receipt says CC, and PP just sent me an email to  complete my transaction, so I guess just CC.

Does the PayPal just die on its own if not completed?

finally through.  IT seemed to start working better when I went from IE to Edge.  I had 12 trains so it took a while to get it down to 2 ( I wanted one) but I will take a second one at this point.  I used PAy PAl to check out.  I may have a hold on my Normal CC at this point.   Each step in the checkout process took multiple (dozens) of attempts to get through.  But I have a CC receipt for payment approval and an order number.  I will just go to the store in the morning for the batmobile.

Seems to be a little smoother, was able to grab a couple of all the items I wanted.

YEEHAW ... one freaking train .. got to order number page and received Paypal confirmation!

Lots of refresh between unexpected errors did the trick But took some patience. Even As Long as these orders took, I still prefer sitting comfy watching some boob tube over wading through the grouchy stressed out shopping Masses. Ultimately becoming one of them out of defense.  I DO actually Love this time of year.  Deep Breath. CHRISTMAS is coming! YEAH:thumbsu:

Soooo unless I'm missing it but amazon UK has no listing from its own store front for the UCS MF only 3rd party? So no chance of 40% off here at all ?

Also had an order arrive recently from lego that was actually poorly packed with the gwp tree a bit squished in one corner. First naff packing I've had from them ?. Much bigger box for it than I expected though now the Mrs wants to build and keep it

I was able to get orders through, but only with PayPal like many others here.

Even though PayPal worked, it still needed multiple refreshes to happen. Dont give up.

I can't seem to get past the credit card approval or be able to use PayPal. Keep getting the error "Sorry! We're unable to authorise your payment at this time. Please contact customer service"

I had the same problem. You may have to call your bank card number. That message means Lego needs authorization from your bank. During one of my refreshes it briefly showed a phone number and I called it. Turned out it was the card services from my bank. The guy asked if I authorized the charge and I confirmed yes. He submitted the answer back to Lego somehow. Then I was told to wait 3 minutes while Lego gets the authorization. I did and finally the order went through. Good luck.

Aggregated advice is working, so I'm sticking to it.

Starting a new session. Log in. Add item(s) to cart. Get the error. Hit refresh. May need to log out and back in.

Items in cart. Click on cart. Get error that cart is empty. Refresh as necessary. Get the cart page.  If your total is $0. Delete. Log Out. Go back to step 1.

If you get a total. Do the refresh thing through checkout.  Even the place order step may result in a Try again message that requires reentering CCV number.

But I've gotten my train, batmobile, and a few docks.  So unless traffic is lighter from the rest of you lot dropping off, it might be coming out as a winner.

129 Minutes, and I was finally place an order using Paypal as the payment. Just keep clicking through to Paypal and LEGO finally decided they wanted to take the money from PP.

Best of luck to everyone still going at it.

Taking bets on whether or not the Falcon sale (if it even happens) will be more or less frustrating than the SAH sales. Is it worse to be unable to purchase a product because the company doesn't know how to program things properly (LEGO), or because you yourself don't know how to program (unable to make a bot to buy Falcon before it instantly sells out).

Looks like I'm done with SAH for the night, gonna wait till just after midnight for the MILF to possibly show up?

I actually got through an order just now without any errors, so the traffic definitely seems to be getting lighter.  It can't be that they've gotten their act together.

You´ve got a 20 minute window till EU reseller scum finish their cornflakes and DDOS the site again.

I made the newb mistake of not accepting my zip code (stuck using a small tablet while traveling..hard to see), anway once i did that started to process smoothly.

Fingers crossed because i got my notification that my Apcolapsburg was canceled due to out of stock 3 days later. So nothing is a done deal until the wife is screaming at me about the  LEGO boxes on the porch.

Good luck to all you guys, except the greedy basturds getting more than the "limit"...

just kidding...

not really if my orders get cancelled.
