Maybe because they know that us reseller scum are the majority that buy online right when the sets go live and want to screw with us...

Clicked the Add to Bag three times for the Disney train and kept getting the error. Finally able to sign in and then I see three trains in my cart. Tried to adjust to one and then kicked me out again! Aaarrgghh!!!

Don't care if they do have that much traffic. Get a queuing system or just get extra server power for today. The largest toy company in the world should be able to afford that.

Costco has been down almost all day...it must be the Russians or the Chinese [emoji23]

Traffic isn't an issue at all with things like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. This is basically just LEGO being cheap and not wanting to pay to scale their servers up for a few days. And/or horrible programming.

I may be up til 12 pst/3est just trying to get my SAH orders in, so maybe that falcon will be there as well

I keep seeing my cart flash with like 5 Disney trains in it (then it goes to zero) and then I can't sign on.  I want 1 not five but the system is a train wreck

Yeah, that excuse doesn't work.  They aren't small time.  They could scale up for these big push days, and they know it.

I do this web site stuff for a living these days, and they very clearly have no interest in hiring an actual IT consultant or two to come in and fix their IT infrastructure.

I had 7 in my cart at one point.

When a server tanks this hard they have to recycle the servers. AKA turn each one off and turn them back on. Currently the servers have hundreds of thousands of requests that aren't getting processed and its bottle necking everyone from doing anything.

Lilly Pulitzer for their annual sale has a line system where you go to the site, get a number and wait. More than 100,000 people thru in an hour usually...lego needs a queue system!

Not me...unexpected errors...multiple items...not signed ins...sigh.
