Traditionally LEGO has put stuff on sale to clear stock.  However there is no reason they can not get smart and start to play the number game.  IE sell the train a discount (not even a loss leader for them), and hook other sales like castles.  Keep in mind 20% is really the new RRP.

I bought one for personal build (and double VIP at the time) and was able to sell the 5 minifigures on their own for $100 free ship.  If this really does post for 30% off I would absolutely buy another one.

yeah there will be additional 20% sets.  I don't have those at this time.  In past years been a decent amount of 20 off stuff but usually no one cares about it so mainly just get the 30% stuff people will care about.  Also what happens usually is if it doesn't sell out during the 30% DD part they revert down to 20% until gone.  So might see some of them still be on sale after DD.

Whether or not SAH matches DD stuff remains to be seen again as well.  Pretty sure last year they didn't match on a lot of it.

Promo wise will be the Tree with $120, Surfer Van on Friday 11/29 only with $50

Also batmobile starts 11/29 with mini batmobile GWP.  So potential for a triple stack if you have a nice store

Keep in mind that LEGO has a long history of putting retired sets with limited availability on their discount list. So things like NJCity, Docks, Parisian, might be hard to actually find day of sale. Having newer sets on the list is a bit unusual and hopefully the start of a new trend.

According to raven's post, the last set on the list is actually 75889, not 75899.

yeah no double VIP scheduled,  have seen in past where they brought it back though so you never know.  Just depends on sales for them most likely which based off some stores seemed very strong this weekend.

ok, as a person who does not typically do Black Friday (...mostly because vanishingly few discounts are worth changing out of my pj's to interact with the horde...)

What to expect on availability of sets like 71044? We have one lego store, it's in a mall, do I need to get in line Thursday afternoon to get 2  Disney Trains, or can I stumble in at 12:30, grab a few and go?

my wife is gonna hate this...but $100 off that set is worth it...

I doubt any exclusives last past noon on BF

So are these in store only or online too?  I'm sure both but wanted to make sure.

not positive,  these first 2 rounds all did but in past daily deals didn't always match online.   Seeing only 30% though they might

I’d be surprised if the Train lasts more than the first wave of people lined up at the door when they open.

Also, likely to be limit 1 in store, so don’t plan on 2 unless you bring a friend.
