I stopped by my local Lego store when I got off work expecting empty spots where the deals were....instead I find everything that's on sale 4 deep. They did say they were on their last box of the red buildable brick.

Did you get this link via mobile website? It does not show this page on PC when you click through the black Friday VIP weekend sale 30% off page, but on my phone when I click the VIP weekend it leads to this page.  

Any guru shed some light on the 'offers-eu'  part?

It's entirely possible these don't start until midnight eastern time. Just like last night.

Yeah it's a 6*6*2ish sized box.  Surfer van is the lame type homemade poly like the falcon from Target was few years back.  Interesting both are EU bar codes.
