I wish it was taller than 7".  More in the 12-18" range.  Honestly the only reason I didn't buy one for myself for my Lego Shop.

Got wood. 

Outer brown cardboard box had a fragile sticker. It's Not pose-able for those who were wondering(hands swivel)

These seem to be sold out at EU SAH now. Dead wood?

I got one as a standalone but now seeing the value kits, makes me wish I would have at least got one with more bricks. Either way, its a little much for me to just plaster with artwork, I might stain it darker, otherwise its a cool display. It made me spend my VIP points for the Lego Duplo Japanese Patent ORIGINALS, so I think ill slowly just collect those.

The figure alone is available (again, after being OOS for a short time some days ago) - the difference is, it is now "limit 5" and no longer "limit 2"... So, if I had to guess, I'd say it will also stay available for quite some time to come. (Seems like only two of the bundles with additional stuff are OOS right now.)

Many of the reviews on LEGO Shop at Home are rather dismal.

I would like to have overheard the discussion @ LEGO thinking this was a great idea.  Movable arms would have at least been something.

I received my 2.  They are cool, but not anything overly exciting.  Been told they were limited to 2K, but who knows if this is true.

I honestly don't understand why anyone would give lego money for this.  120 bucks might buy an actual vintage wooden lego toy, I could see someone doing that.  I just don't get it.

I think it's cool too but I got scared off by the reports of gobs of glue coming from where the arms attach.  I expect primo quality control on a handcrafted item like this, especially if it's limited production at this price.  I could always return it after I order it.  We'll see how black Friday turns out but mine had better be perfect upon receipt.

Saw these at LEGOLAND California last week.  They were behind the register, don't know if there was any limit.

Just sprouting up in a new thread, maybe puns will take root here. I like this "set" but it does just sit there like a bump on on log.

For an artwork base it'd be cheaper to just 3d print one in plastic.

I'd like to see this theme stick around for a couple years, but it all whittles down to supply and demand.
