October 20, 20196 yr What is this piece? White battery operated control section. Takes 3 AAA, has a 1/2/3 switch. Does not have an item number like most lego PS: it takes 6 AA batteries, not 3 AAA. You need to slide out the entire battery compartment insert, which can be a bit stuck inside the base. I just finished disassembling, cleaning and reassembling this RC base myself ... hence the tip
October 21, 20196 yr Author This piece was in a large tub of random legos/mega bloks i got a yard sale. i don't even have track pieces so i can't use it. I'm going to put it up on ebay soon, unless anyone on here is interested?
November 9, 20196 yr Hello Folks, Need a bunch (~40) straight RC tracks for a project with my boy. Anyone have tips on where to get tracks for cheap? I saw a BL for about $2/ea plus shipping but would love to do a bit better. thanks
November 9, 20196 yr Track pack (60205) is on sale for $15.99 (RRP 19.99) at Target with $10 GC on $50, so under $12.66 for 8 straight pieces ($1.58/pc shipped). It also has 8 curves. This goes in and out of sale between $12-16. I use them for a few MOCs I sell so I buy a few cases when they go on deep discount.

If you buy 5 boxes ($79.95 total) you get a $10 GC and you have 40 pieces of track.Even better, on Amazon you can buy the same pack for $15.95 and it qualifies for the $10 off $50 so you pay $69.75 for 5 packs. You can use the remaining curves and flex track for other projects, or sell it off as a bulk lot on eBay for $20-$30 to bring your total purchase cost down to ~$50 (after fees), or $1.25 per straight.

I think I get your groove...ended up putting in two orders: 3 track packs plus a benny space pack (~$53)...more extra tracks and a couple of popular mf packs to boot. I feel like Luke swinging thru the swamps of Dagobah w/ Phil-B on my back
