The thing about Local sales is that you can actually inspect them before putting your money down. Worst you can do is waste a bit of time... or be thrown into a love dungeon... but that's less likely than it seems.

    I go into every Craigslist transaction hoping for this as an end result.

    Whenever Craigslist poster wants to meet at a nearby starbucks I always counter with the backdoor of their basement or mine...cuz cut to the chase
