October 9, 20196 yr My apologies if this has been asked or revealed. Is there a 2020 Lego modular building coming out in 2020?
October 9, 20196 yr Nothing confirmed that I know of, but I've seen blurry pics of a modular post office when I search for new modular. Prob the same you have seen. Looks like Dec 3 is when last years was posted on here. Leaks =IP theft for Lego so they prob hold it close to the vest.

Is there a line out the door of elderly patrons, a disgruntled worker cutting the lawn using a refurbished garage sale Toro, a soccer mom strutting in with yoga pants and Etsy packages followed by a beat-down middle aged man with a stack of eBay packages and all the workers on break in the back vaping? October 9, 20196 yr Based on the last two released, we are likley to see a continuation of the "1950s Americana" theme. Still lots of possibilities....police station, library/bookstore, post office, school, train/bus station, hotel, museum, hospital, etc

This doesn't seem legit. Most likely the USPS would pay double for a mower via a government contract not try to get something cheaper at a garage sale. If you can provide pics of the soccer mom, I can verify if this is a real post office.

November 11, 20196 yr there is a thread at EuroBricks with rumours that it could be either a Post Office or a Bookstore.. - just rumours but still pretty exciting! https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/84574-modular-building-sets-rumours-and-discussion/&page=330
December 2, 20196 yr I just got the most peculiar idea.. what are the odds that it could be Green Grocer? Lego has re-released so many sets this year..

Jamie Berard has mentioned many times that it his highly unlikely they ever re-release the older modular sets as they contain a lot of elements that they no longer have molds for. The modulars are getting better detailed. They could possibly create something similar using the available pieces, but it wouldn't quite be the same. New modular has a reported part count of 2504 pieces Edited December 2, 20196 yr by brickvoyeur
December 2, 20196 yr The latest rumor I’ve heard that anyone is putting stock in is a library or bookstore. This is just what I’m seeing around the net that people are latching onto over anything else. Apparently, I’m years past, the 2020 modular has been announced on the first Monday of December, but with Cyber Monday here, that probably three a monkey wrench in that. Basically. It could be anytime in the next week, is the speculation I’ve seen.

December 3, 20196 yr Continuing with the pattern of modular releases, the next design should be a straight section business building with possible residential or same section but a government facility. Therefore I can see a bookstore to one side with post office on the other (perhaps living quarters on top) or a bookstore at the base with post office on top. ....Or it could just be one big fancy library. Haha.
December 3, 20196 yr I heard it was going to be an Amazon warehouse... yup. that's the word on the street.
December 3, 20196 yr Wasnt there an AFOL Starbucks that bogus bricks ripped off? I am guessing the way TLG opperate it wont be too far off that design.
December 3, 20196 yr Despite my large personal build collection of various themes, the Modular Buildings series is the reason I got back into Lego as an adult. Bookstore/library was rumoured a while back....I'm anxious to see the final product! Edited December 3, 20196 yr by eliminator
December 4, 20196 yr "Bookstore / Library" it is. Hopefully they'll pick a side when all's said and done. I wonder how much the design will be like a Barnes & Noble having shelves of books everywhere with a seated reading section surrounded by magazines ....and a coffee bar to the side. Here's hoping for a couple of beatnik minifigures to be included cause why not.
