February 20, 201312 yr Will two corner buildings (PC and GE) fit together? Pardon my ignorance, I am trying to expand my expertise beyond just the Star Wars line. Thanks for any replies.
February 20, 201312 yr I see no reason why they shouldn't. All the modulars use 2 technic pins in the same place at the bottom to fit together, so you can move around the buildings as you see fit.
February 20, 201312 yr All of the Lego Modulars are designed with the same concept of connecting. The custom modulars are also designed with connecting pins. The fun begins when trying to change the corners to straight modulars. I am going to attempt that shortly. I did however combine 2 FB's.....created a 2-bay firehouse.
February 20, 201312 yr Author Did you simply just build 2 FBs and connect them or was there more involved?
February 20, 201312 yr This is my favorite Fire Brigade. Some of you have probably seen this as I've posted it before. This looks like it took roughly 4 separate FB's to make, pretty sweet looking in my opinion
February 20, 201312 yr Each modular is built using a standard setup that has been in effect since the original "Market Street". So yeah, they will connect to one another with ease like Tetris pieces.

February 20, 201312 yr Yes, corner Modulars can be combined into one unit with some modifications. Bascially, you have to build the second unit...opposite, or the mirror image of the original version to get the proper look. The original Cafe Corner instructions had pictures in the back of a SIX UNIT Cafe Corner. Very cool.
