Sets like this need a couple of baseplates or a playmat...they're just lacking as separate elements.  A ton of minifigs though.  I guess that's what Lego figures sells sets nowadays.

So they really are just using Friends sub-themes as a City preview. That mean we're getting an Octan racing remake soon?

Yes, for 2020 there is a racing subtheme.

Saw that, too.  60256 Racing Cars (190 pieces), 60257 Service Station (354 Pieces), 60258 Tuning Workshop (897 Pieces).

I liked the looks of 60132 Service Station (515 pieces) from 2016.  Will be interested in seeing how the Tuning Workshop looks with as many pieces as it looks to be coming with.

This Ski Resort town reminds me of the random chop-shop nature also found in 60200 Capital City (1211 Pieces).
