Thanks. I just bought four sets. TRU had these sets on sale for $9.99 last weekend, but they didn't have the zombie poly bag. I bought 20. I guess I should have waited. :-)

I am extremely new to lego investing and was wondering what type of value these sets can appreciate and in how long? I am also wondering what a good number to buy is. Money isn't really too much of an issue, just getting excited about the prospect of investing in legos. Thanks!

Ed, Thanks again for your help! Since again, I'm extremely new at this, I figured I'll pick up 5 of the $19.99 sets on lego.com. Really excited about this fun hobby. SFlego86

What I also find interesting is I see a listing here for one of the minifigs that has had 25 sold for $8.99; Which definitely makes me scratch my head a bit. Would the 9488 set be more valuable by breaking it apart and selling each minifig seperately? Again, i'm a total newbie, so I appreciate the patience. Great observation. People part out these Clone Trooper Battle Packs and often sell the minifigures for more than they paid for the set. The Battle Packs are great Army builders.
