3 "houses" confirmed. The top portion of the tree can be removed to play with the houses. Remove-able roofs. They backed a lot in the octagonal buildings. Bunk beds in one, larger bed in another and a common room.

To me, this is looking more like a win.

That picture next to the modular really shows how big this is.

I will probably pick some of these up, but not until they hit discount prices.

IMO it looks a lot better without the yellow leaves. Also I would ditch the blue roofs and go with brown like the submission. 

I can't wait to see it, I hope they have a build of it in store.  I bet it looks a lot better in person then the pictures.  At over 3000 pieces this set is huge.

The set was on sale at SDCC preview night but was pulled today.

 

 

 

Treehouse is Live! 

I’m interested to see if this set will be carried in B&N stores and not just online. Nearly all (or all) Ideas have been available in their stores, but this would be a $200 set on shelves. Voltron is stocked at $180 near me, and OFS was always available as well.

After reading this Brick Breakdown at the Brick Blogger I got even more appreciation for this set. Like OFS this will be a future winner, especially if it has a short availability!

Now I really must have this set for my own collection, as well as get some extra boxes stashed.  

 

I finished building it over the weekend. Such an amazing and unique set. Highly recommend. 

I recommend adding a bunch more leaves. This has ~60-80 of the smaller 4x3 green leaf elements added.

I added a few extra of the bigger leaves, but now I will probably add more of the smaller leaves. 

I wonder how long this thing'll stick around. I guess Dec 2021, it can't just be 15 months.

Yeah, it's never reduced but I have a Coupon. Brings it down from full price to 160.

Yeah it was. But that's a 150€ set. This one is 200€. Overall price plays a role as well.

its hard in the uk at the min. i'm in same boat. loads sold out that i'm after, i got these at £140 from JL a while back and sold them all at £230.

the fact that the EU factories have been unaffected & loads still gone for ages makes me think lots aren't coming back.

I have still hope there will be another production run for this, before it's permanently done and retired by end of this year. I'd like to get it with at least a good promo thrown in.
