I received an official-looking email today with the above title. First I've heard about it.

Is this a legit LEGO thing, or a scam? It had my correct email address on it, but not my name.

(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place; I couldn't find any related threads despite searching).

I'm also in the UK, but haven't seen the email. Have you tried calling Customer Services on 01753 495730? Never call a number in an email that you don't trust, an incorrect name is normally a warning sign. I also can't see anything with LEGO VIP on the Google Play store.

Yes it just adds the VIP card to you wallet. I’m hoping it will give me updates to the local store here on events. Missed out on the last Minifigure deal 

That also does not read like proper English.  Having an email doesn't mean anything, Lego may have been hacked.
