A $10 "battle pack" based on the original space theme?! Four figures, with one being a new color?! Two vehicles and a classic space robot?!  Sign me up! 

With the new Lego Movie 2 sets beginning to hit the shelves over the past couple of weeks, one thing I've noticed is that I've only seen this particular set at Target. I've come across all of the other new sets from this theme at Wal-Mart, Meijer, and in my local Shopko stores, but none of them have had this set. Only Target. Checking Brickset, it's not listed as a retail exclusive. A quick Walmart inventory search on br******k shows it as "out of stock" in every store, while searching Target it is in stock at every single one of them. Was Target granted early access to this set before other retailers? Is it truly a store exclusive? Can anyone provide some inside information on this? 

Whatever the case, this set is sure to be popular due to the nostalgia, price point, and value. I've picked up a few from my two local Target stores just to be safe. Once the movie hits theaters and people start looking for the sets this one should be in high demand. I'm debating on stockpiling a few more but there surely will be a flood of these hitting other stores at some point, right? Right?!

Barnes had it up early online.  It's not exclusive to my knowledge.  Think Kohls had in stock online for a bit too.  I did notice most barnes in store had all but it though.  

Sold great out of the gate.  Got 30 or so on first shipment and did pretty good for awhile.

Amazon has it too.

Terry will have a good 800 of these built up considering it's price point and already apparent like of the set...

This is what could be considered as a Classic Space minifigure pack for the modern generation. Now if there was a blue edition of the non-cracked chinstrap helmet it would be perfect in that regard and also a red spaceman to round out the troop.

I’m telling you, something is fishy with the brick & mortar availability of this set. My Kohl’s has most of the new sets, except BSS. At a $10 price point you’d think that set would be perfect for a place like Kohl’s.

None at my Meijer yet but they haven't put out any of the new LM2 sets yet so they might be there.

Ive seen them at Target only so far

One of the Walmart's I stopped in this morning on the way to work had four on the shelf this morning.  I grabbed two.  They were finishing up their reset if that's an indication of when they will show up.

I must be getting too old for QF game.   I cannot see how to make money selling these for $17-$18 on the Bay

I just saw about a half dozen on the Lego Movie 2 table at Barnes & Noble.

I just saw a few in a different Meijer than I was in last night. 5-6 of them on a front end cap. Maybe now they are starting to trickle in to other retailers besides Target.

It´s only just been released and a lot of the smaller shops are just getting their first post Xmas deliveries. Should be plenty time to get this yet and probably at substantial discount as the movie isn´t even out yet.
