January 2, 20197 yr Was browsing on Ebay when I noticed this new logo against some lego sellers, could Ebay also start gating Lego sellers? Seems unlikely to me, but guess everyone should always have a backup plan if Amazon and now potentially Ebay start restricting sellers.
January 2, 20197 yr Authorised by whom, though? I need to get me one of dem logos photoshopped. Edited January 2, 20197 yr by Val-E
January 2, 20197 yr Just as well that <5% of my sales are through eBay. They will gate LEGO if TLG asks them to, it's only a matter of time IMHO. There are many outlets to sell LEGO and you just have to look! Edited January 2, 20197 yr by TabbyBoy
January 2, 20197 yr well, as long as ebay itself has among the rules of VERO violation paragraph such as this, I guess we can sleep calmly. Besides (not sure how about ebay UK after brexit), but other EU ebays are subject to EU governing law and LEGO demanding that its products could not be freely sold online - be it ebay, classifieds, FB market place - would be a straight violation of the free trade and would not stand in an EU Court. https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/listing-and-marketing/verified-rights-owner-program.html#m22_tb_a1__11
January 11, 20197 yr On Ebay Germany they already have the "Lego autorized Ebay Seller" Logo since end 2017. Didn't Change anything from my perspective.
