I'm excited to get my hands on all of these!! I've done very well in the mini-figure space, and I think these would do great investment wise!

Does anyone notice 4 of the figs are singers with microphones?  Are these supposed to be members of the group that sings "Everything is Awesome" ?  I assume that is the song playing on Emmet's headphones

I am pretty sure it is the action hero guy with the pet dinos that Emmett encounters on his journey. But now that you mention it, that outfit looks verry Emmett, maybe a disguise from a part of the movie

The new character is basically supposed to be meta Chris Pratt playing lego roles CP has played in real life movies.

Nope. I am expecting at least 1-2 (or even 3) costumed figs in a CMF release.  The Swamp Creature seems to be part of a different set altogether to me

Lego Monster Fighters 2019 Confirmed.

I'm really hoping this will renew interest in the Lego Movie 1 CMF series. I have two sealed boxes that are just itching to be sold. On the flip side, this series blows the first one out of the water in terms of coolness and want factor.

With the Harry Potter series as 71022 and this as 71023, I guess that means we're getting a long period between releases?  If this series is May, and HP has already been out for a month or two.

this has to be a january series. minifigs plus says they’ll be shipping out boxes in february. the movie comes out in february also.
