I'm starting to regret my GT3 purchase from last week. This one looks much better.

Probably 1:12 scale and similar size to 42077 Rally Car. This will really canibalise 42056 sales as it improves on the shortcomings of that model and high price with a wider audience

Now I am less regretful on missing the $229 offer a few days ago, gonna buy the speed champions version soon.

LOL - so glad that I didn't take the bait to buy a 42056. I'm feeling so smug right now ? Hate me, guys - you know you want to ?

Just saw this on brickset, looks great. I wonder how the scale is compared to the 42056. Could really hurt it's retirement value if they are the same size.

The video description says 1580 pieces, so quite a bit smaller.

It´s 1:9 scale. The main difference is there are no gearbox internals and sparser interior.

Looks great and I will be getting one of these. Those 42056 hoarders are in trouble I think and a race to the bottom?

I resisted the urge to bite last week, I nearly went in for five. That is going to be the best decision I have made so far.. I hope not too many people fall on their swords with this ?

No reason to be smug, it appears this one doesn't have the special packaging the GT3 has and appears to be a regular Technic release.  It won't hurt it much if the RRP is comparable.  With that said, $100 over RRP might be the ceiling for 42056.

Either way... I think this looks far better than the GT3 and will put the cat among the pigeons I think. If I do see a GT3 for under £100, I admit, I could be tempted.

Read from somewhere else, price tag is 149.99 euro

It'll be a bit smaller then. Let's hope it's as exclusive as it can be with limited availability. Of course, it won't be!

Saw this set come up on Facebook earlier and chuckled at all the posts that would go up on brickpicker.

Looks like a great technic set but nout like the GT3. Any adult Porsche fan will always want the bigger more expensive one. I mean come on they like Porsches!! If they like the smaller, cheaper stuff they’d buy a Ford!!

Both alongside side each other would look good as well. This thing might even help the GT3.

GT3 looks better in my opinion, except for the headlights. RSR wins that contest.  Say what you will about the GT3, but it is the only LEGO set my sons friends are immediately drawn toward, and are interested in how it works. It pops, and the focal point of any shelf.

I guess it´s like comparing a 75190 to a UCS version. Some people will want both but most will get the cheaper one.
