So i picked up these sets in a lot, all large sets complete with instructions. some small sets missing a few pieces. Some boxes are beat up but the larger boxes are in decent shape for being around for 35 years.  i guess these are from 1979-1980?

Really cool seeing Classic Space sets just as they were when we were playing with them.  I'm not quite old enough to have had the 3 digit sets, but had most of the 4 digit sets at the bottom as a kid and played the hell out of them.  Amazing lot, congrats on the find.

I have 11 of those sets but the boxes are long gone and most are missing pieces.  Least to say my sets are very well used.  I'm kind of jealous.  The large sets I always wanted but was never able to get.

6970 was my one big set growing up (and I still have it). I have acquired several others of these in the past few years, but have not been lucky enough to stumble on a lot like this one. Good work!

The boxes are pretty rare on these, especially in pretty good condition.  I have become a vintage set box snob in recent years and would kill for a score like that :P.

If your looking to move them in one shot let me know :P

I also have many of these complete in the original boxes with instructions - if anyone is looking to buy - I have several lots to sell.  I have nearly all of these.

Just a friendly FYI, this is more of an investment site than fan site. Don't get me wrong, lots of fans here, but some people here do not even like lego, they just like $.

With that being said, if you not looking to get top dollar and are considering selling bulk at some sort of discount, you may find a buyer here. It would help to make a list or take detailed pictures to help out any potential buyer so they can know what they are purchasing.

If you are looking to sell individually and maximize your $, then you may want to check Ebay.com or bricklink.com.

There is plenty of useful info on this site from others experience.   Good luck!
