November 15, 201312 yr I ordered one more B-Wing today just in case. Now the question is for $150ish, would it be better to put the money into let's say 2 VCs, 2 Epic Dragon, or 2 Jabba Palace instead?

Now the question is for $150ish, would it be better to put the money into let's say 2 VCs, 2 Epic Dragon, or 2 Jabba Palace instead? To hold, I like the B-Wing and Jabba's Palace. Neither will be redone anytime soon. B-Wing has the UCS designation, while JP has some phenomenal minifigures, and a very isolated place among the SW lineup with no similarly sized remakes. It also has Jabba and some great minifigs, and Rancor Pit and Desert Skiff to partner with a couple years after EOL. Quick back of the napkin on a potential sale in 1-2 years: Purchase price JP - $81 RP - $41 DS - $18 Total - $140 Future Bundled Sale Price - $300 I think that's a realistic possibility for a future sale price for these, and frankly there's a good chance these go for more. Time will tell whether it hits this price or not, but we're still talking about a nice payoff at $300.

November 21, 201312 yr I like the future of this set..maybe a year or two from now. This is what a lot of people here seem to forget. It will take time to appreciate. But they see a set going EOL and if it hasn't shot up in value it's an immediate failure. The eBay UK price, for auctions, is still below RRP, averaging

November 27, 201312 yr So I was on the forums today and there were some discussions about certain sets being retired and I looked at the B-wing and it is now retired. Here is a link from LEGO Shop at Home. Looks like a lot of sets retired today.
November 27, 201312 yr Damnit, I am gonna get hit by a car or something. Too many good things happening all at once!!!
November 27, 201312 yr Orc Forge is still NOT retired (sold out only) --> There DNIIM, 1 bad news for you
November 27, 201312 yr Orc Forge is still NOT retired (sold out only) --> There DNIIM, 1 bad news for you Really. With all the sets retiring today, Orc Forge is still not retired. I am thinking that TLG is starting to mess with investors.
November 27, 201312 yr How do I follow on the mobile site??? Choose full version then you can follow , and then switch back to mobile.
November 27, 201312 yr How do you tell which sets are retired other than searching every single set? But holy crap, this is a happy dance kind of day
November 27, 201312 yr Thanks but that is not optimal. Get a better phone with good data plan so you can open the site in "Full Mode" all the time.
November 27, 201312 yr I guess you're a sith lord which explains your rudeness. Heloo... a "Darth" as part of my name. Kind of obvious isn't it ? But seriously, did you think that previous comment was rude ? I thought that was on point (ie. finding optiomal solution to a problem).
November 27, 201312 yr Not really but I have a good phone and data plan its just that the mobile site always loads first
November 27, 201312 yr Not really but I have a good phone and data plan its just that the mobile site always loads first Interesting. My android phone and tablet load mobile version first, BUT once I select full mode they remember as long as I do not shut down/reboot them. Perhaps there is a setting that can be tweaked on your phone ?
November 27, 201312 yr It still on the lego website (US) just sold out probably be back on the market early next year
