There are people in their 50s and 60s not mature enough for credit cards...

I absolutely wont argue with that.

I guess I would say that if you worry too much, it may prove oyur not ever gonna be mature enough for it anyway. LOL

256 left on Amazon and counting..

Would you guys trade a sealed B-wing and 100 dollars for a used Death Star in excellent condition with box and manuals?

Edit: I am not offering, but someone offered me the Death Star so I'm curious.

In a second.

Which one the retired one or the play set?

Assuming it's a May 4th B-Wing, I'd have to do that deal. $200 for a used DS...every day.

since i feel this is now retiring, i know there are alot of us here who are excited about the coming profits

Play set, non retired

Correct.  Thanks for the feedback so far!

How high would you guys go?  Would you go up to May 4th B-wing plus 150 for the used Death Star?

This is a good deal, it is 22% off the retail price of $199.99 USD. This would be a great buy if you missed out on the deal on May 4 and 5 when the B-Wing was selling for $99.99 USD on Lego.

Called US lego support to fix my Cuusoo order debacle. Anyway, i Asked about the B-Wing. Audrey told me they are not getting more 10227s in-stock. Have to buy in stores as her system says "discontinued" for online purchases.

In other news, she said Orc Forges should be coming back on a limited basis.

Disclaimer : I'm just the messenger here and passing along what I was told

Ahh, sweet Audrey...

I don't think it is worth Lego's time to produce anymore B-Wings.

Yup. This b-wing info is also consistent with what 2 other US Lego phone reps told me last month.

So, what is keeping them from slapping a "retiring soon" or "retired" tag on it?

This will likely just go retired, but they are probably waiting for Amazon and Target online to run out.  I am guessing it is retired on October 16th.  Put it on the record.  (that would be awesome if I was correct!)

Record updated!

I think you are close to right though. Hope those $99 sets pay off.

I thought it had gone as the lego stores sold them off for 30% discount a month ago. But it is back at LEGO Shop at Home at full, price.

yup. the web site and stores each have their own pricing policies.  like TRU, Target, etc...

Same with me I've read the reviews and they say it's not the best UCS out there but who knows what this set will be worth years down the road.
