That's great news! The price stalled for quite some time on the B-Wing, however things started to move slowly. Slowly but surely!

Other thing I notice is... there isn't many of them either. I know its a rare set and it had a short life span bla bla bla, but it's pre-Christmas season already and I expected to see more of them available on ebay. Is it because people might be keeping the B-Wings for 2015 when the new movies come out or this set finally started to perform well?

Finally some nice bump in price. Whatever the reason is... it is good news. I will keep mine for some more years anyway. I am really curious where it will end up (value wise).

As soon as it hits

B-wing never got a real heavy reduction of price here (in Belgium). I bought them around 159.99

I have no idea how many B-wings are sold... but I saw it did not sell well in collishop. Remained almost stagnant stockwise (20+ something) for months and months. Then there was a good promo and they flew out. I do believe it is scarce (and cool) enough to make up for its impopularity.

Be careful, sometimes Brickpicker price guide isn't as accurate as one might assume. EU price guide figures are based on German eBay sales (as mentioned for example in Grolim's blog article).

Now if you manually check B-Wing sales on eBay Germany you see that real sales were between 177 and 300

It all depends. From my perspective as a UK investor/collector, this set was quite disappointing for the first 10 months, barely touching

I have 2 B-Wings in perfect condition (155 euro/set) and 1 in very bad condition. I still have the oppurtunity to refund my money but it's a hard call. What do you guys recommend? And when I say "in really bad shape" I mean really bad :-).

Is this set officially a failure now? Think I will just put mine up for auction and see what happens just to get rid of them.

pm me with store link or info. please

So I will take all that as a yes, it is a massive failure and I should definitely dump mine. Thanks.

If you bought in at MSRP then yes it was a bad investment decision.  Those of us that got in at $99 plus minifigure and Chima promos are sitting just fine.  It hasn't even been 2 years since it retired and the Star Wars hype will be in full swing later this year.  Stay on target.

Dump them if you want, but I think you'll regret that decision in the future.  This set is a slow climber because of the $99 buy in, but it is climbing.  Hold onto them for another couple of years and you'll make good money.

I missed out on the $99 deal, but still bought in at $150.  I don't regret that at all.
