September 1, 20187 yr Got a large haul about a year ago and having trouble identifying the following parts and what sets they may go with. Any help would be appreciated Edited September 1, 20187 yr by Zender Spelling
September 1, 20187 yr Author Ok I think the two dirty troopers are from this set because I have an R2 and two light gray cone pieces. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=9490-1#T=S&O={"iconly":0}
September 1, 20187 yr Those two black panels are: 44351 (left) and 64782 (right). Gray element on the right of droid body is 61199. The hooded minifig on the top is sw242 but it shouldn't wear a hood but 64797 'tiara' instead.
September 1, 20187 yr Looks like the orange dude is Commander Cody from 7676.. Although his leg print is different. As seen in this Video.
September 1, 20187 yr And then the dude beside him is at 4:17 of the same video.. Hes the owner of the yellow helmet.. ?
September 1, 20187 yr And sorry for the spam but heres the vid for the two troopers you mentioned out in 2012..
September 2, 20187 yr The orange trooper is one of the two Commander Cody minifigures but has the wrong legs. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=973pb0503&in=M The legs are from Dr. Inferno from the Agents theme. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=970c00pb042&in=M
September 2, 20187 yr Author So much help thanks I will post more mystery pieces that I can’t identify if I find more.
September 3, 20187 yr Author Also are there any good sites for identifying minifigs? I have a bunch of city type minifigs and would like to figure out what set they may go with so I can look for the parts in this haul. My biggest using bricklink is I literally have to scan though bodies or heads... not sure how to describe them it get a better search. There must be a better way!

September 4, 20187 yr Author Awesome that helps a lot. Here are a couple more items that I can’t identify (might no be Lego?).
September 4, 20187 yr Top left is your standard frog https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=33320#T=C Top right is an alien head for Life on Mars https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=lom018#T=S&O={"iconly":0} Bottom is arm for Super Battle Droid (Star Wars) https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=sw092#T=S&O={"iconly":0}

It helps tremendously when starting out to ID things and also have another way of searching (skip this with items that goatleg.com has though)
September 4, 20187 yr Another piece of advice I would have is that if you are trying to identify complete figures, try to identify the torso/legs/head/ by itself and then go from there from what figures that part is in. Bricklink doesn't get into too much detail with a complete figure, but individual parts have much more identifying aspects listed that can be searched. If you torso has a belt/scarf/id badge/etc, use those little detail in your search and it will narrow it down significantly. Learn what words BL uses for certain items. Members here, especially store owners on BL, have scoured that catalog for years and know it pretty well, it's not an overnight thing. Like @LegoMan1212said, scan through categories you aren't familiar with and learn what is out there. Over time you will know those parts by memory.
December 11, 20187 yr Not a minifigure in sight. Nothing looks remotely complete. Pizza is from the building facade of City Corner 7641; You've got parts from the first winter toy shop in there. Unless you're getting a rock bottom price per pound and looking to add parts to a bricklink store, this seems like an easy pass.
December 11, 20187 yr There are some good sets in there: winter bakery, winter toy shop, apple tree house, 3367 space shuttle, 7641/60031 city corner. For resale, the winter sets will do better if the minifigs are included. Good lot for parts/mocs for personal build. Value depends on buy in. HTH
December 11, 20187 yr As always, thanks. You guys always know your stuff. After these few years, I am still learning.

March 9, 20205 yr Bought this lot for $140. Looked promising. Any help identifying the sets would be much appreciated.
March 9, 20205 yr I see some 6090 pieces in there. If that is all there it could easily cover the entire cost of your purchase. Nice find.
March 9, 20205 yr Peak 90's Lego nostalgia in that pile right there: Blacktron II, M-Tron, Ice Planet, Castle, System Pirates, Paradisa (6416), Fire Boat (4031), Model Team Sea Jet Edited March 9, 20205 yr by CosmicSpeed
