Might be a good time to start negotiating with your local Walmart toy manager...

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-02-15/wal-mart-executives-sweat-slow-february-start-in-e-mails.html I have no idea if this helps or hurts our chance to negotiate good deals with the managers. Just thought it was interesting...

Would be nice if it did help to some degree, like various items getting good discounts, but I'm not sure. It could end up leaving customers with limited choices in stock. My Wal-Mart's stock is a wierd mix of this & last years offerings. Target is turning out to be better overall, but there are still certain new items that should have already been available but are not, like Series 9 of the MINIFIGURES or the TECHNIC sets.

Not trying to sound superstitious, but it would figure that the year 'it' is hitting the fan is 2013.

And people thought 6/6/2006 was bad.
