So if it doesn't fit into City, I guess it gets absorbed into Creator...Although City Pirates would be an interesting theme....

.. dont know about you, but I see these "characters" (city pirates) EVERY SINGLE DAY on the road in my city.. .. on the other hand, having them "bricked" might be quite rewarding ;)

I didn't think this needed it's own thread - 31078 - Tree House Treasures

This would totally fit together with the Pirate themed 3-in-1 Pirate Rollercoaster sets (plural version) for a Pirate themed fair which includes this set as a playground feature for kids!

Thoughts on this set as an investment? It's exclusive to WM and has been on 40% off sale a few times before I think (currently 40% off). Seems like it could go well with pirate roller coaster like some said above, but it also seems that it's just kind of it's own thing.

I built it with my kids. A lot of fun. Not sure what the ceiling will be but I’d be surprised if you couldn’t make your money back within 6-8 months EOL.

No good at all, stay away.

In all seriousness, I've been buying this set on and off at 40-50% off since last December and flipping them on various outlets for $35+ without issue.  Now the price on Amazon (all 3p sellers) has crept down to ~$35 so the market price has shifted down a bit to lately as well.  The nice thing about exclusives is that most buyers don't know its an exclusive so when they check your price against Amazon and you're lower you win, even if Amazon is above RRP (as it is in this case).

Thank you both. It seems like a nice little exclusive, but since it has been at this price or lower several times in the last year I wasn't sure if that was an indication of it potentially being a dud.
