the studs on the plane wings look really ugly.. they could at least try to cover them with some tiles here and there..

thats obvious. but the contrast between absolutely smooth plane fuselage and these wings - its just too much. Im not saying that all of these studs should be covered with flat smooth tiles, but some of them could and the difference wouldnt strike so much.

Maybe so.  I'll say I like brick built plane pieces better.  These plains and trains with huge solid wings and noses just aren't as fun.  I get why they do it though.

Bump.....What is the story with this set? Very spotty availability, very few marketplace sellers, and will only ship to certain areas via Target. I like the set, the playability, and the long term potential, but this set is not following standard protocol......I think that's what makes it intriguing....

It's nowhere near as rare as the previous version so the >50% rule still applies for this set ?

It's very available in the UK still.

I don't disagree with the pricing rule......but doesn't seem to be quite as abundant here in the States...just an interesting one
