So I preordered the new Lego City game for Wii U at Target. If you preorder the game you get a $10 gift card (once you pick up the game) and a chase McCain minifigure (now). #1 - You are not obligated to pick up the game. #2 - It costs $1 to "preorder".

Are those still out? I wiped out all the Targets here before Christmas and sold the McCains. I hope Target didn't order that many games thinking that I was going to pick them up. giggle giggle

Our target just put them out for their ad. I personally wanted the game so I picked one up. Wasn't sure if it was worth it for an investment.

No, technically you could pay cash for these. You won't get your game and your gift card until you return to pick up the game.

I'm with you, I bought up eight of those buggers and already thought they were gone in like two weeks or so. I did not think they would get anymore of those preorders anywhere. I started a thread just for "Chase McCain" on November 3rd of last year because that was around the time he was made available, here's a quick link.
