Hello all,

I was offered a few LEGO display case sets through a craigslist ad. Wondering if anyone can tell me what these would be worth.....would the value just be in the sets that are enclosed in the display, or is there added value for the display as a whole?

Pictures are attached. For reference, the person is asking 125 for the Star Wars one and 75 each for the other 2. Are these worth a buy?

They are worth what you're willing to pay and they are not easy to sell.  Those prices are on the high-end.

Think about all the stores that had these and then how many people have touched them (lol). Unless you already know someone you can offload them to for profit, I would only consider the sets inside to have any value.

One of my local facebook groups routinely has someone (repeatedly) trying to offload these displays. Very little demand.

Those displays are not easy to ship either. The bricks  are glued together and also glued to the wire stands that hold the spaceships in mid air. I imagine those would break during shipping.

There was a local seller on craigslist that was selling 4 Friends displays for $150.  The SW might sell for a bit more, but probably not really worth it unless you want to display them yourself.
