I don't think there is a forum for these, so I thought I'd start one with some quick observations for the retired sets. 

41181. Sold out everywhere. Nearly double RRP already on Amazon. 22 sellers. Disappeared very quickly in SAH sale. 

41182. Available at Amazon and Tesco (at least 99 available). 53 sellers. Disappeared quickly in SAH sale. 

41184. No stock apart from Tesco (94 left at time of writing. This was above 99 this morning). 31 sellers, all above RRP. Took longer to sell out at SAH. 

41185. Still available at Tesco (at least 99 available) and Amazon. Sold out pretty quickly at SAH sale. 

So, Amazon and Tesco have the monopoly on these. For me, one clear winner, 41181. Also, 41184 could be worth keeping an eye on. How quick will those 94 disappear?

I can still buy 41181 for about £25% off locally.  My selling platform (ebay) not really persuading me to buy these as at current sold prices i'd have made a loss. But its too early to judge.  I think i got one or two of the others at just over half price but wont risk it at those prices currently at Tesco / amazon.

I´m in the same boat as you. 41184 is the one I am avoiding for now.

IMHO from a set quality standpoint... 41181 is a winner, especially at 50-75% rrp. I'm buying everyone I can find at that price. 41182 is a poor man's Starlight Inn. I hope it performs half as well. 41184 LOOKS like a dog that's a remake of Ninjago Raid Zeppelin , but I had to grab some at 50% off... short run and sometimes the ugly one is the one nobody pays attention to until its too late. 41185 had the immediate sale at WM for $25 and then Target at 50%. I think this set has the visual appeal to carry it. 41187 is my favorite. No steep discounts so far, and it is one of the few sets this run that has a dragon.
