Hmmm. They seem to have completely ignored reality. Purple skis and gold ski poles is not a combo I've seen on the slopes. Snowboarders more likely to wear hoodies, skiers more likely to wear a colour matched outfit. Also never seen a snowboarder wearing a scarf.

The only people who wear scarfs on ski slopes are Russian women tarted up to the eyeballs along with fur hats and designer sunglasses before they head to the most expensive bar on the hill. And they would never ever be seen on a snowboard.

That's to teach kids the valuable lesson that you can try to ski down the roof of your house when there's snow on it ......

Plenty have done the same on Jackass so I guess why not in a LEGO set?
