Part 2: I don´t like surprises, especially if they are early releases of remakes.

Those seasonal freebies are nowhere near the quality of Snowglobe, Gingerbread and other earlier incarnations.

This Christmas Ornament is such a let down :( They could do much better than that. Probably Snowglobe because of that will jump on custmomer attention trails.

TRU UK were offering that Christmas ornament free with £25 spend or £4.99 straight up very poor giveaway.

There are usually a few freebies a year. This smaller ornament is in the line of a series that has been done for years now.  They also do those advent calendars that generate some interest, but not as much as the yearly seasonal promo.  The snowglobe you mention was last years seasonal promo, while this year is a weird looking nut cracker.  2015 was an awesome one with a holiday train one week, and a gingerbread house on black friday.  They are still doing those, it's just the nutcracker this year.

Did they remake the mini London Bus too?

Hamley's need to get rid of their over-priced excess stock somehow ;-)

This is underwhelming.

Offer for December looks "empty" in terms of what we get in EU comparing to USA and overall offer.
Overly Disappointed.

I´d rather not have the bus come back to Europe - ever.

20% off on sets will be good for last minute EOL snagging but our 2xVIP is too late for stuff to arrive for Xmas - seems more like a way to retire a few sets before having to reduce them.

Seriously? London Bus again? As much as it is a freebie, but you telling me TLG don't have enough designers to come up with something as good as the Holiday Train, Gingerbread House or Snowglobe?

TLG is going down the drain really fast with re-release of iconic sets and freebies.

It's a direct remake. ;)

thats right, do you think LEGO would put any extra work force to get you something special now after they are trying to save every penny on anything possible?
they will flood you with BUSes that are developed for London Leicester which are available to purchase for a tenner.

same thing with Winter SnowGlobe as a freebie in mid of the summer.
"Oh wait we just realized we have 10.000 boxes in our US warehouse which we need to get rid of asap to make space for another freebies"

Any expectations of other freebies that I expect to see a return appearance in the coming year?

My guess:

Krypto Saves the Day polybag

City Police Helicopter polybag

Minifigure Travel Pack

Build to Learn pack

Milano polybag...maybe?

Piggy Bank

I totally read that as Colonel Sanders the first time.

Image result for colonel sanders meme

The original quick flip story. Sanders Sold KFC for 2m Dollars and the company who bought it from him sold it on for almost 300, just 6 years later.

If he had invested in Lego, it would have been all in on Joker Steamrollers.
