October 17, 20178 yr Hi, there are several baseplates' colors which can be used for diffferent formations on our Earth, but for some of them I have no idea, please share you thoughts for what the could be used for. (Only natural formations on our Earth) white - snow green/bright green - plants/grass blue - water tan - deserts, coasts trans clear - ice light bluish gray/dark bluish gray - streets, asphalt red - ???? yellow - ???? reddish brown - ???? black - ???? orange - ???? Thanks for answers, Mauro Edited October 17, 20178 yr by mauro23

October 17, 20178 yr Not sure streets/asphalt are natural Earth formations .... The reddish/brown and red could be used for iron-rich soil called laterite. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laterite The black plates would be much better representations of the black soil found in many parts of the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_soil And apparently yellow soil is a thing... https://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/Yellow+Soil

Only other thing for Orange, tree leaves that have fallen during Fall color change or another type of lava flowing, Burnt grass is tan, but Fried Grass I believe can be Orange, Fire in general. But I still think a large mess from Janice is dead on.
