My Local Toys'R'us is already stocking the set, pretty deep as well (at least 20 boxes), so I wouldn't think a quickflip is really happening.

It scanned at 34,99€ which had me protesting a bit
I had to have them pricematch Lego SAH (didn't think I'd ever do that ) and could apply a coupon as well.

It's also listed at that price on the online store of Toys'R'us, but with limit 1.

The lady at the checkout did a bit of a doulbe take when noticing it's acutally going on sale on Nov 1st, ("oh cr*p have to take them off again then"), but as shops are only open on monday till November 1st here (Tuesday and Wednesday are public holidays) she might not bother clearing them away again...

Perhaps they are preparing some type of promo. That rule about not raising prices 15 days before the promo starts could be the explanation.

They haven´t put the rocket up so much in Germany. Here it is 145 euros!

Prior to going "live" it appeared you could pre-order this from LEGO Shop at Home.  First time I've noticed a pre-order there.

Yes it was almost simultaneous. It said it would ship when it became available on.....NOW!

And then I had to call my cc company bc Lego thinks I’m a fraud every time!

 

Ohhhh maybe it’s my wife telling them to decline every Lego purchase!!! Makes more sense!

Not sold out yet? Kind of lame. They should’ve had a $50 promo. That would’ve kicked things off better.

Just placed an order for 2 and the chess set as i wanted the pieces and it got me the promo. Total came to 0 dollars after blowing my vip points from 2 falcons and last months double VIP.

Yes, Reading is one per purchase!

I was going to order two from LEGO, but there’s no way I’m paying postage and there’s no other set or promo worth having apart from “the one that you’re not allowed to order”. There’s plenty of time as it’ll probably be overproduced and very non-exclusive since TRU have it. I can wait for JL and get a shed load.

UPDATE: JL allowed me to put 728 of them in my basket so they’ll be plentiful and very available. I’ll not bother right now as I expect discounts before Xmas and maybe another Tesco 3-for-2. Of course, the QFLLs have already flooded eBay.
