You're aware the free items don't show up until you goto the checkout screen, right?

I see the promo...

You have to actually check out for it to appear....

Sorry, hadn’t seen the previous reply.

I see that SAH Europe is also offering additional sets at 20% off per day,

starting with 60052 Cargo Train this Thursday.

Friday: 42065 RC tracked , 41324 Ski, 70618 DB

Saturday: 10253 Big Ben

Sunday: 75190 FOSD

Monday: 17101 Boost, 41318 Hospital and 70612 Lloyd´s Dragon

This years black friday is a bad joke... just 2 exclusives + boost, and lot of crap (which can be easy available for better discounts in other shops). And no one set from this horrible offer is retiring...

Yes, it would seem that they are less desperate than last year so either sales are up or they have less stock to shift.

That it´s 21st November and they haven´t tagged more sets as retiring soon is also a positive sign compared to last year. Don´t expect much for the post Xmas sale either as all the decent sets will be long gone by then.

It is not much positive... ok, it prevents from hoarding, but on the other side, you dont know what to buy, and many sets have unpredictable EOL (Slave, Tie, expert cars, etc). For me its better to know in advance, what is retiring, and avoid a long storage torture.

But that's the game. You've got to use all your data to extrapolate what may or may not go.  Retiring soon tags means everyone with zero knowledge can just leap in and scoop up the sets you've had your eye on or had hoarded for a while.

Much prefer it that way.

some sets are extremly unpredictable. You can use any data, but cannot expect retiring. For example Ferrari, Mini Cooper, T1 - there is a lot rumours about each of them, somebody saw ferrari with a "last chance", but it can still live for another 2 or 3 years. Its much better to have 10 pieces of a set, which can have also many other investors,  than just bet on these sets and then see them in your storage room for another 3 years, keeping money and space...
