Starting a feed for this it. I would imagine we should have something to talk about in 6-8 weeks! How is it shipped? Disappointment or excitement? This would also be the obvious place for us to place the perks when they do begin. I do believe this will be my first feed created. Unless someone already did it?

I called yesterday, and this is basically the same response I received.  I was told it shipped from Hungary earlier this month, and it takes 2-3 weeks.  I was told I should have it by April 2.  The lady did tell me that my account was already marked "BLACK VIP" account, so I could enjoy the benefits even without the physical card.  When I asked "what additional benefits?" she kinda giggled and said they "would be revealing additional benefits" prior to May the 4th.

Giggled while whispering "sucker" under her breath and said they "would reveal double points again" in May. 

 

Mine was mailed on January 12th from Hungary and received on March 16th.

The additional benefit is a free chip to place on your shoulder year round.

If I recall correctly, there's been one total perk so far, right?  2x VIP points last month?  Ugh....

It's been a wash out. I really think we should all complain. Lego hyped up bvying this early with this card and the benefits being a perk and they haven't delivered. 

Its not met the definition of a year of benefits.

Not to mention the people who ordered then cancelled but still received their card long before many actual buyers did.

In a few years we'll look back & laugh...apart from those who will still be waiting of course  

My card arrived today as well.  Bought my set around December 10th.

Here's hoping (probably foolishly) that there will be some worthwhile perk for us on the May 4th weekend.  If you're going to try to do any kind of Star Wars themed perk, or set of perks, wouldn't you absolutely do something around May 4th, and plan well in advance for that? 

 

Just writing those sentences, I can tell I'm setting the bar too high...

*sigh*.. I keep checking this thread hoping there was another perk.

I got my card yesterday in the US. Purchased just after thanksgiving. Never asked or contacted them for a second card. Just was over patient. Now let the perks begin!!

The march 2x pts was for everyone, not just Black VIP holders.  The 2x VIP pts in Feb was for black VIP card holders only.  Thus far, that has been the only "perk".

Starting to wonder if this program is dead.  Not even a peep mentioned in the catalog I just received.  All sorts of star wars may 4th details, promos, new sets.  Zilch on the Black VIP front.

I think TLG realized the falcon didn't need any incentives @ $800.

Yeah, looks like a Ponzi scheme where even the first investors don´t get anything!

While I fully expected the benefits to be bad, I didn't expect them to be nonexistent. I'm not sure why I still expect anything from TLG at this point.  I'm tired of companies making claims like this that aren't carried out or about exclusivity of items that aren't true.
