Oh the joys of being a recently divorced guy with no kids.  I don't have to explain or ask permission for jack squat.  I can throw money down for this and be proud of it and not have to worry about a nagging wife hahaha.

My experience is that once girls get through the 'this is geeky' subconscious barrier, they become more obsessed than me. A good friend of mine, an outgoing girl, asked for a Death Star for graduation. I feel the world is finally becoming a good place.

Work bonus comes Sept 15, so this is great timing as it's probably the only time during the year I won't get a complete eye roll.

Here is my one hope for this set: I hope all the hype over this set before and after it's release (and its presumed scarcity) overshadows some of the other newer sets like the Saturn V. That way, consumers will spend all their time thinking about the MF and shopping for it and won't spend time looking for other sets. That = $$$ for us! It would be cool if the MF was a well done model, but there is no way I'm dropping $700 on one.

Is it safe to say that this officially brings the Golden Age of Lego investing and reselling to a close? Between the remakes and all the counterfeits of large sets and the over saturation of resellers you could argue the golden age may have waned a few years ago.  However 10179 exemplified the possibilities of reselling and investing and now that it's poised to be replaced with a bigger , better , newer version it would seem the star is coming back down to earth.  Oct 1, a new age dawns. I'm excited for this set but at the same time sad to see our star finally burn out .

Guys, what if this has all been one big diversion campaign, there is no new falcon, and 75192 is actually a toddler-scale pod racer. So bogus bricks will be just as flabbergasted as us when LEGO shocks the world with the real set. We've been smeckledorfed.

I was counting on the Chinese concern revealing their version first. It´s remarkable how TLG seem to be able to keep a lid on internal and exteral links when they really want to. Makes me think that a lot of the previous ones were stage managed.

Agreed, the boxes for this set have already been printed and with no image leaks seems like they are keeping tighter control. Perhaps this set is only being produced at plant S and/or O. I am sure if it was being produced at R then @boliramirez would at least have a set of MINIFIGURES by now and possibly some images. And if was being produced at the new china plant then pre-sale would be available from the counterfeiters.

There's two early access exclusives for VIPs in the middle of September showing on the September calendar. I'm hoping this set is one of them.

I don't know how the Han Solo minifigure from the Death Star last year leaked but I'd assume the same person has seen the Falcon minifigures.

I just really want a better Rey minifigures. With sleeves, boots, etc. Not grey torso. The existing one really sort of sucks.

Yeah, MONTHS ago, probably. Snowspeeder leak was months before the reveal. I'm surprised too. Glad, but surprised.  There've been pictures of the UCS MF box floating around internally but I'm surprised that hasn't leaked either

Oh this isn't nearly as bad as Brickset but they've finally gotten back on track

I might get some hate for this but I really don't care if the UCS Millennium Falcon has the sequel trilogy in it or not. I am worried that it may or may not be based off of the Original Trilogy also since we already know BB8 will be in this massive set. I think it would be a bad move from Lego if the new UCS Millennium Falcon does not have any original trilogy Minifigures and the Radar dish included.

I know the color of the box and some details,  it is being manufactured in Mx... I cannot confirm minifigures yet... my contacts are keeping these details even from me..... which is good,  I want it to be a surprise for me as well...  that is why I have not digged deeper into the detaisl...
