      Well after getting through all 8 films and trying to work out which was the bigger mistake in the prequel films Jar-Jar or Hayden Christensens wooden acting, I finally finished the mighty Falcon.

    So at this point we "know" the following:

    1. An image "is out" that shows a lego designer boasting that he worked on a large SW set to be released Sep. 1st 2017.
    2. It was confirmed that the designer is: Hans Burkhard Schlömer
    3. The set is going to be: much, much, much, much, much, much larger than set 75182 and is going to be announced on September 1st 2017.

    Now to make it interesting if we assume that each "much" is code for "1000 pieces" then this "larger set" would be a massive set (over 6,000 pieces). (Not likely, but it does get close to an assumed $599 price point)

    Should I now sell my 10179 in perfect condition as I did for the Death Star before the new remake has totally destroyed the price for the old one?

    Now is probably too late to obtain optimum value but definitely better than it will be in a few months.

    I would do that now if the 75192 is really only a (improved) replacement of 10179 as stated in the title of this topic... Otherwise I would keep it as I have done for Snowspeeder...

    Set 75182 is a very small set of 300 pieces.

    He’s saying the set he’s working on is much larger than this 300 piece set.

    He did not say that it would be much, much larger than the 10179.

    Well 10179 and 75192 (if true) would make a "Full" UCS collection.

    Not sure how you got to 6000?

    all speculation.

    Lets just say I went to 11 err...6000 in this case.

    Sell the 10179 ASAP and you´ll be able to rebuy one cheaper this time next year.

    I been told it is big, I could not get a piece count, but it is a fact is coming sept-oct 17 and it is big.... that is all that I could get from my contacts...

    Well, the leaked pics of the BB-8 75187 comes with a UCS style plaque, but no UCS label on the box (may be added later), so maybe no MILF UCS this year? hope I'm wrong though.

    The BB-8 is NOT a D2C so there is still a chance (cmon really) that the Falcon will come.

    Wasn't it 10000?

    I can't see Lego doing that this time.  Lego wasn't as popular back then, and the horde wasn't on their radar. I'm sure they realise this is going to be a scalpers dream set, they aren't going to make that worse with a "first edition".

    I just hope they set buying limit to 1 at release unlike 21309 so people have at least half a chance of getting one.
