  • Well after getting through all 8 films and trying to work out which was the bigger mistake in the prequel films Jar-Jar or Hayden Christensens wooden acting, I finally finished the mighty Falcon.

Well, I don't know fellas, I've just seen the reddit photo, to me, this seems legit... Who would have an interest to make such a damn good fake?

The lulz. Never underestimate the appeal of lulz for some people.

The faker (fake creator?) must have been a JJ Abrams fan

It's missing some explosion then lol ! [emoji1]

The "W" in Star Wars on the top left is a major give away to me. Unless somehow the lighting is making it look uneven, this is 100% fake...

Here's the image. I'm somehow posting this between fits of laughter.

One giveaway (I think) is the new Falcon will include trans red flood lights (mandibles) based on multiple scenes in the Force Awakens.

One of the red lights can also be seen when Chewie picks up Rey and Finn after the Kylo duo. About 15:22 left in the movie.

There are a ton of inconsistencies. As Jeff said, the font is wrong (not bold enough) and well...

The background is missing behind the "Ages" line - it's been scrubbed. And there is a clear vertical line on the right side where someone pasted the text into place (the jpeg encoding algorithm would have to be pretty special to create that perfect line). The white lines extend further past the "LEGO" logo than on other UCS sets.

Hopefully the jack ass spreading these pictures is reading these posts so he can fix up his mistakes for the next round.

Thanks, I had somehow overlooked the jpeg encoding algorithm.

Sorry in advance for the meme...

This was a MOC box art that was done and wasn't intended to be a fake leak. Initial poster created this to show what a re-released Falcon with interchangeable radar could look like

That is clearly a picture of the old 10179 pasted onto this box. Not bad. But all the details are identical to the 10179. If LEGO would just bring out the old ship, that would be really bad for their bussiness

New Death Star says hello!!!

When the 75159 UCS Death Star remake came out, its box had an image of the Millennium Falcon in the background, and someone on here commented that that suggested an upcoming UCS MF remake. Now imagine if this was a legit pic of the UCS MF remake box. Notice the image of an ISD in the background? [emoji15]
