I don't know if I was dreaming or what but I could have sworn I saw a post where someone preordered a UCS falcon for a May the 4th celebration this year. I searched everywhere (here, shopathome) and came up with nothing though.

Well, this could be the first step in TLG´s masterplan for marketing by getting the hype going with such a small picture and building up over the next few months, teaser by teaser.

I´ll keep an open mind.

For once I wish nobody would leak something like this. Funny coming from me, I know - but I can't remember the last LEGO release that was a total surprise to everybody. I wanna be surprised for once! 

75144, 75095 and 75060 all have a small preview in a corner of what the set looks like on its stand with its UCS sticker... This one would not ?

Plus the shade don't look right... Sun is hitting the valley beneath thr falcon and not the falcon itself ?

I call fake, or at least sloppy job of a young intern for an internal box art shot preview...

The only way to get surprised nowadays is to turn off your internet for a month.  No product is really a secret anymore once you figure out how to find the leaks

I'm just being optimistic here...

Square radar on that one.

Probably just a fake released into the wild so that when bogus bricks steels it they get the wrong box art.
