I don't know if I was dreaming or what but I could have sworn I saw a post where someone preordered a UCS falcon for a May the 4th celebration this year. I searched everywhere (here, shopathome) and came up with nothing though.

I never asked. I finally got my order through, straight to back order, about 10:45am on sept. 14.

On release date, CS said they anticipated by Oct 1st, but it was a crazy day and I didn't put much stock into it. I never called again.

I'm in the south east US.

That message came from an email from Lego. I just got mine a few seconds ago. There is a "Yes. Keep me notified." button in the email.

So, stock mysteriously appears again just before D-Day. What a surprise.

My order placed on the 14th on Shop at Home that was put on backorder has just shipped!  Everyone else's will ship today/tomorrow as well is my guess.  Woohoo!

Mine just changed to warehouse... I hope it changes to shipped !!

What ever happened to the page that listed out what places had a certain set in or out of stock and also allowed you to set up stock alerts?  Is that page still around hidden somewhere?

 

Also, Just got my tracking number from Lego!

It ran it's course and wasn't updated much for quite some time.  It ended up being not very cost beneficial to the site.

So they are officially putting the general release back until November? Wow.

I wonder if the website will manage not to cave in when back in stock messages get sent out.

Something tells me it will sell out before the notifications even have time go out. Lots of sites offer a notification of stock, but in my experience they can take hours if not days to be finally sent out.

True, nothing works as fast as the brickpicker grapevine.

Why couldn't LEGO simply keep some back for 01OCT orders? It shows that they have little regard for non-VIPs. Also why wasn't the limit 1 per household as it's obvious that the scalpers were waiting for VIP release?

LEGO... put your greed aside and think about your average customer. You know... the ones that pay your sodding wages!

My 75192 will cost me £433.33 at the most, mark my words!
