Nobody is really believing these images to be real, right?  All the minifigures are just taken from the artwork from various sets and put together under the falcon.

It depends which satellite dish you put on. The figs are interchangeable depending on which dish you use. You can't have episode IV figs displayed with the rectangular dish, right? If I'm spending $600 on a set I better get accurate figs depending on the dish.

I think this is real. I also think the pics were leaked on April Fools Day intentionally, just to mess with our heads.

1000% fake. In the picture, the Falcon is on a stand, but anyone who has put together a 10179 knows how freakin' heavy it is. There is NO WAY it could be held up by a single, spindly stand underneath its center area. And why put it on a stand anyway? It looks just fine—better even—on its built-in landing gear.

Ah yes but it fits in with the paranoid plot expressed around here that Lego are out to get resellers by remaking sets with a 1x1 wedge placed on it and attempting to call it new.

It's definitely fake, look at the jaggies under the Falcon where the fiend has used the Wand Tool. Lego promo shots are always high resolution.

I didn't buy it, because I do not expect a 100% identical to 10179 UCS MF to be released as a new UCS MF. Just like with the new Snowspeeder I'd expect a model that is (slightly) smaller, but with more detail and using newer, more modern building techniques.

Start saving your $$$ people, because it looks like there may be a $600 (at least?) UCS set coming out in October (unless LEGO bumps the date which they did with Salve I).  This "rumored' set will most likely contain Hoth Leia, Hoth Han, Chewbacca, Finn, Rey, BB8, Old Man Han...and maybe a Mynock.  No clue on radar at the moment, no clue on interior.

And that's what I got, for now.
