I agree, that it may be quick to jump the gun and question the maths and sanity of these people.  Even for RRP, they can still make a quick profit with minimal effort.  As you said, they may have already amassed a good chunk of VIP points. They'll also amass some VIP points for the remainder of the balance.  There's potentially also cash back and also points on the credit card.  It all adds up.  Shipping is also free, since they will just tell Lego where to ship and eBay always has special offers such as FVF offers.  Since Lego is shipping it, any problems then Lego would be responsible.

Exactly, if they dropship then they Lego pays the shipping and they will amass the VIP points as well as being able to use previously amassed ones.

On the other hand, this set is going to be a scammer´s favourite so the it could be the buyer won´t receive anything.

I saw three 75192's sell out the door for $800 bucks on EBAY with free shipping....

...my second thought is 1f636.pngIf they are that dumb at math they may not care if the plan is to skip town with $2400...1f602.png1f602.png1f602.png

I didn't see that listing, but now I see one with 0 stock / 4 sold at $699.99 each.  These are not "good guys" converting VIP points, or getting 2% cash back on their credit cards. They are scammers, plain and simple. I hope those idiots paying them are happy with their decision to assist criminals commit fraud.

People already queuing up at Leicester Sq. Queue already has about 15 people. At this rate unless you get there by early afternoon forget about it. And just to get a cheap display case and two signatures. It's also going to be blustery, cold and possibly raining later this evening. Good luck to them.9e918aaf2a3b20c293a73dbebdbdd523.jpg

the shame of being photographed so early on!

must admit that's a little surprising. For such a small incentive...

you can bet that those guys there already will all be buying the MF. Remember though, once it gets closer to midnight  not everyone in the queue will be buying the MF, some will be going for the experience.

If it gets really out of hand I can see the local police intervening and shutting it down. Last thing they want is hundreds of people milling around at midnight with no more than a few private security controlling it.

must admit that's a little surprising. For such a small incentive...

but you're still going, right? :-)

Good luck to those getting in line tonight. I am personally waiting until October, but I'm looking forward to seeing all your guys pictures of waiting in line!

I was going to queue. But probably won't now. Even if you start to queu at say 4pm I think it will still be too busy based on how it's shaping up. That would be too long though to wait anyway

there are two seperated lines, for those who are visiting store and those sheeps queuing for MF from early hours.

Lots of people have asked Lego how the event will be managed, each time Lego say they have no information  on that. Pretty poor.

Typical Lego Standards are typical.

I will make a call to ask someone to check the Q for me if there will be frenzy already ongoing I will give it a pass. Not worth to me.

Hiring  someone who is perfect at caligraphy to put the signature on the box later for 10 quid makes now sense to me.

having enough of the reference pictures after today on ebay probably wont be a problem.

im based in the West End of London and could get there in 10minutes, but I don't fancy queuing for 11 hours. I'm going to monitor things and will report back.

what bothers me is that already people are saying " a friend is in the queue and waiting for me" so there will be lots of queue jumpers joining friends, pushing you further back.

Be brave you plucky Londoners for this inevitable Leicester Square Lego Moped crimewave tonight!

It's going to be like something out of the Purge.

How many of those plucky MILF lovers are carrying 700 GBP in cash on them?

Based on some of the posts, I'm imagine people dressed like Scrooge McDuck waving £700 cash around and screaming "I'm not from around here", whilst being persued by an army of Lego thieves on mopeds.

Yeah, it´s us. We were only 21  when that queue started, though.

They will sell out even if they don't sell out.

So long as the webmaster has written his code right.

WHEN SUM Clicks on item photo > 2 = "sold out" UNTIL DATE > 21/09/17
