I wonder if that´s the Lego designer who will be signing the sets. Times must be hard if he has to pay for his own copy.

Don't think it is. The post ask the dimensions of the set and the queuing system if that was the designer they would already have all that info.

I wonder about Lego Florida Brand Stores, and how they will cope with current situation and whole release thing since "Day after tomorrow" scenario is ongoing there.

I doubt getting an overpriced Lego set is going to be high on the list of priorities for most people. Most people will be focused on getting basic amenities back online and cleaning up, including people who work for Lego.

Tell that to the guy who is flying to London FROM Denmark to get a signed one! If it´s true, then this set is a basic amenity for him.

Saw the set in the Vegas store.  Impressive. It looks to be a great build.  But where or how to display this thing. It's  Far too big for any credenza I possess.  The wall mount idea is awkward and the coffee table idea is not gonna fly... With each square foot of home being worth around $200 and it takes up approx. 5.04 sq ft I'm gonna pass.☹️

EDIT: I have a ginormous credit card.  Not the limit- just the card.  huuuge.

Brings me back to my idea about a "Builders Club".

I would love to build it. And then get rid of it.

I mean this thread is already 104 pages, what else can we possibly talk about?

Post EOL value, box thickness, manual paper quality, build value and complexity, bubble, vip points, estimated retirement date, scammers, satellite dishes .......

Apparently so.  You must have missed the memo.  CreditCardPicker.com?

After September 14th, Brokepicker.com maybe?

Psh. You plebs, with your credit card limits.

Yeah, I thought Bitcoin was the norm on here.

Back on topic, 28h to go till release, or maybe 20h for those who plan to wait outside their local store for one.

Do you think with the change from 5/per to 2/per on LEGO Shop at Home that we will still see day1 VIP sellout?

I think they want it to sell out to build up hype. Seems there is an embargo for reviews so people really need to get one the first day to have the no spoilers experience.

I do.

ok @Alpinemaps looks like we might have another Poll opportunity.

Do you think the 75192 will sell out Day one at LEGO Shop at Home.

Depends if the people who voted in the first poll put their money where their mouths are - and their credit card balance.

no question this set will sell out within hours of its release and will be lucky to get one restocking before x-mas at this late date.

75192 is like saturn v on steroids injected with that stuff that makes you chew people's faces off.

i will be shocked if this set is even orderable during double VIP due to intrinsic demand.

this set seems like a relative bargain compared to 10179.

i can't imagine flipping these other than through cl for a couple of hundred bucks profit.

too risky on amazon though i'm sure some will try to touch the sky.

i'm in for 2 at midnight on the 14th*.

*or whenever the LEGO Shop at Home website recovers from crashing.
