We are stuck in this cycle of mining, arctic, and coast guard.

I enjoy the winter themed sets so I’ll check these out, but I too wish we’d get something else.

The farm theme needs to be re-visited, along with a city zoo theme.

Even easy to do hot dog stands, different animals in polybags, other vendors

Zoo would do amazing. Every city would have a zoo area waiting for every new set. Collectors would demand to have EVERY animal/set

What makes rehashing themes OK is that new kids are born every year.

They may not like what is buried beneath the ice....

and they have some cool animals already molded - like panther from Jungle set or sharks from Pirates / Coast theme

As well as alligators, bears, dogs, spiders, rays, octopus, pigs, ostrich, etc. They already have a ton of animals already available.

Re issue / re box / price uplift for the trains 60051/60052

So that means the current trains will  retire this year bang on 4 year schedule. Key point is no new station apart from xmas one.

Probably because resellers are buying all the stations?

60050 (boxed) is still available as part of the 66493 Cargo Train Super Pack - which is also great to part out, especially when I bought a load from John Lewis at £128 each.

60051 may struggle as it's been heavily discounted all along and I don't think it's as good as 7938 was, RRP may not be reached after fees.

I talk smack about the inflated amount of Helicopters all the time. As of before this announcement, there were already 14 sets for 2018 with a helicopter element.

However, yesterday I just so happened to buy the Building Better Thinking box that includes the Chopper build. SMH.

I was looking for the prices of recently sold CITY sets on ebay.co.uk and found this.. do you think that the price is substential or waay too much overpriced and it was some very "fanatic" collector who bought it?
