Apparently by 2020, the Lego catalogue will purely consist of Millennium Falcons and City helicopters.

The battle pack ruins the potential of the recent Droid escape set... another cheaper way to get the Jawas

Ski Speeder vs. First Order Walker (75195) – Defeat the First Order’s Storm Walker with the help of a super-speeder equipped with skis! Plant the pilot of the resistance spider and the First Order troopers in their cabins, ready the guns and get set for an exciting adventure. The set also includes a small shelter with additional weapons and ammunition for even more exciting battles!

A-Wing vs. TIE Silencer Microfighters (75916) – Play out the space battle between the Kyle Ren TIE Fighter and the A-Wing Fighter of the Resistance! Plant the minifigures in the cabins of their ships, load rockets on board and start the fight. The set also includes a mini-station for repairing ships. Good luck, warrior!

First Order Specialists (75917) – Send reinforcements – it’s the combat set of First Order specialists! Let the First Order gunner take his place, then ready the gun and aim. Guard the weapons with the tough stormtroopers of the First Order, armed with laser axes. Can you defeat the Resistance? All in your hands!

Ahch-To Island Training (75200) – Go along with Rey in search of a hut on the mountainside on one of the islands of the planet Ahch-To! Teach her to use a lightsaber and try to destroy a stone boulder. Sit back by the fire and learn more about the Jedi Order, and then spend the night in order to sleep well before the new training day.

First Order AT-ST ATV (75201) – Help Finn, Rose and BB-8 to capture the unfinished AT-ST! Jump to the suspended lift and climb onto the walker. Turn the steering wheel to deploy the gun, and control the walking pylons to start moving. Lead with fire to retreat to a safe place where you can hold out until reinforcements arrive! Can Captain Phasma stop our heroes before they manage to escape? Their fate is in your hands!

Defense of Crait (75202) – Prepare the Ski Speeder to battle for the Resistance base against the forces of the First Order! Send the soldier to the laser cannon and other tools installed in the trench, and carefully monitor the movements of the enemy from the command tower. Set the guns on the Ski Speeders and check the serviceability of the engine. When the enemy approaches the base, put Poe in the cockpit and send him to perform another difficult mission. Fight for victory to the last, brave Resistance soldiers!

So, in no way is TLJ a rehash of Empire Strikes Back then. That´s good to know.

Full size images at Hoth. New Vader is gonna kill demand for old Vader.

All six microfighter vehicles looks really well, I think MF and Kylo Ren TIE is a must.

Both battlepacks are solid, I like the Tatooine one more.

Ahch-To is nice little playset, with beaitiful minifigures and Porg :-)

Grievous vs Mace Windu looks good for minifigures, the vehicle is teribly off-scale, and this set is the firs NO for me.

Defense of Crait looks like not good / not bad palyset with vehicle, very similar to Hoth playsets. I am not sure about the pric, minifigs are not interesting.

Both buildable figures looks nice (Vader and Bobba), but I am not fan of these "bionicle" products.

I am really looking forward to walker with Phasma and Finn, I belive that this set will be really good. Altogether I do think this way is really solid.

People who were paying 40 quid for porgs when 75192 came out are probably hanging themselves right now.

The box art on Boba Fett . . . is Disney trolling us by suggesting he fought his way out of the SarLac pit?

Probably based on a pretty famous sculpt used on several collectibles.  There was a book series called "The Bounty Hunter Wars" which describes his escape from the Sarlacc Pit and his adventures after.  I was never a fan of the whole premise.

My favorite premise is one I only recently became aware of. Apparently  there were two characters in comics named Tag & Bink, and the idea was that they Forest Gumped their way around major events in the SW Universe.

Ron Howard recently tweeted that he has put them as background characters in his new Solo movie as an uber nerd homage, and essentially making them cannon.

Apparently one of their comedic / historic events was one of them hiding in Boba Fett's armor at the battle at the sarlac pit which explains how Boba would be so easily and stupidly defeated.

Heck when he landed on the skiff it was like he didn't know where his wrist rockets were. He lands, fumbles around for a moment and then decides to try to trap a Jedi Knight with,,,,,,,,,a string?

Why not the rockets? Why not the flame thrower? Maybe because he had never used them before?

Totally silly of course, but neat.

I wonder if they're trying to show a Kyber Crystal in that boulder?  Maybe Rey builds herself a new lightsaber.

I'm so glad, we haven't bricklinked any of the mini figures for the force friday sets.  I had a feeling many of those that seemed exclusive to those first 7 sets would end up being in these sets, and that happened.  These upcoming sets are much better than the sets released on force friday..  I'm really not a fan of the BeatnikAT-AT and i'm glad I didn't pony up for the Poe, and AT-AT driver figure.  Much easier to just buy the micro fighters to get those figures, and I do like the ski speeder.  I'll definitely add that one to the collection..  The acht-to set is also pretty nice.

Ah!   I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that.  I'm wondering that too.
