There were some figs that leaked that could be major spoilers for the film if they are related to it.

The Porg "UCS" set has leaked....and it looks like the source material.  Not sure I would call it a UCS set.  It's more in line with the Creator sets where you build a dog or parrot.

Of course, we forgot these stupid critters are on the MF when they reach Crait.  Meaning, Johnson handed the SW trilogy back to JJ Abrams not only with the force in shambles but with a Tribbles problem.

 

UCS-looking or not. All I know is my 10yo daughter is going to want this bad. I'm curious as to price, piece count, and height. 

Edit: Hoping for a sound brick with the Porg cry. Haha! Now wouldn't that be cool.

Ever played KOTOR? There was a similar problem with Gizka on the Ebon Hawk... and there were solutions

The design is fine for a non-UCS set.  Cute set in fact.  But if this is a UCS set, it would be a sham....I mean shame.

I agree with you that it would be a shame if this is labeled a UCS set. Judging by the studs, my guesstimate would be just under 9" tall. Watch Lego throw in a fact plaque to go with the UCS label.

My prediction is that it will be just as much an UCS as the BB-8 set is. I like it by the way, regardless of the source material. It looks dope on a desk.
