the latest lego ideas project to reach 10k votes has a very sad story to it.

there is a good chance it will be picked regardless of the MOC designer's illness.  it's a sound design that's not over complicated (elements, cost to market, etc...) and promotes better health (sun exposure in this case).

    But surely the sad story of the MOC designer's stage 4 Melanoma will help sway the Ideas Review Board towards accepting this design...

    Besides that, this set doesn't have a difficult license to obtain, there are no rare bricks included, and it's a set that can easily be combined with Creator 31035 Beach Hut, Creator 31063 Beach Vacation, and City 60153 Fun at the Beach.

    Pretty much a no-brainer for LEGO!
