Has been posted/reported before, and it's really easy: just buy them all, have the cashiers take the boxes of, go to your car, smoosh in peace, then return what you don't like.

    Probably due to theft not to prevent smooshers. I imagine they are easy to pocket for the sticky finger crowd.

    My local lego store will help with the smooshing. The employees there are great at it.

    And such action is the perfect recipe for stores to impose stupid limits like 2 per person or make it final sale. No refunds or exchanges. Some of my local TRU have already limit these to 5 or 10 per person or with signs stating transactions with more than 10 will be final sale.
